Meet : Twickenham Riverside, by Eel Pie bridge by 10.15am.
Description: Four of us met up on a cold but bright morning. The path through Horton Country Park was a bit muddy with decaying leaves and Epsom Common had the occasional patches of ice but felt like remote countryside rather than being inside the M25. After more traffic in Leatherhead the ride up the zig-zag has a manageable gradient and certainly took the chill off. At the top we were rewarded by fine views across the Weald a toytown Dorking immediately below. After a pub lunch at the Hand in Hand the way home was an exhilarating downhill switchback getting back to Kingston soon after 3.00 apart from Steve who had to get the train from Epsom due to a broken wheel skewer.
