RCC Newsletter – 4 February 2012

Once or twice a month, we send out an email update on cycling in Richmond. If you’d like to sign up for these, contact us here.

We also post the newsletters here on our website. Read below and enjoy! Previous newsletters can be found here.

Tomorrow’s ride is now cancelled due to the likelihood of snow and sleet. Apologies for this.  More details here… http://tinyurl.com/72kvd3w The ride is likely to be rescheduled for another day in a few months time.

Our next ride is a Ride for Everyone, Saturday 18th Feb, meeting at Strawberry Hill station at 10:30, riding to Bushy Park and Hampton Court and back.  More details here… http://tinyurl.com/73x9wbe

The next Ride for Explorers is on Sunday 4th March, heading out to Windsor and back along the Thames.  Meet on Twickenham riverside at 10:30.

Lots happening on the campaign front, some new traffic schemes that the council refuse to consult us about…
Send your views to campaign@richmondlcc.co.uk.  You can also join our growing group of veloteers – give your opinions and help when these things arise.  Send an email to Nick at the same address.

Don’t forget the monthly meeting on Monday 13th February at the Old Ship at 20:00.  You may have heard about the upcoming LCC ‘Go Dutch’ campaign…
The cycling development officer from LCC head office will be at the meeting to explain what the campaign entails and answer any of your questions. Location and other details are here…
