As members of London Cycling Campaign in Richmond, we want Richmond to be a cycle friendly borough. To achieve this, we are working with the council to improve facilities for cyclists and we are raising the profile of cycling in the borough through education and participation. We want people to choose to cycle in the borough of Richmond and feel safe while doing so.
We meet once a month to discuss cycling issues in the borough. We discuss existing and proposed cycle provision with the council and lobby them to provide or improve cycling facilities. We also try and get people of all ages to cycle, through organised rides, working in schools and free maintenance workshops.
We want to participate in London becoming a world class cycling city. We enjoy living in Richmond and we want Richmond and London to be great places to live and cycle. Have a look through our site for more details on what is happening at the moment and do get in contact if you’d like to get involved.
